Important 2025 Information
I am sad to say that ACTC has decided not to offer the Sierra to the Sea tour in 2025. As you might have guessed, mounting costs makes an event this year impossible. No one is more sadly affected than our Club and staff, as it has been our joy to vacation with so many outstanding riders and friends during the summer through the years.
Thanks to everyone who traveled our way for the last 34 years!
We won’t give up hope, the urge to continue is strong within ACTC. We will be examining other versions and objectives for potential tours in the future.

My warmest regard,

Tour Description

Sierra to the sea Bicycle Tour starts in the Sierras, transits the gold country, the river country, the wine country, the Pacific coast, crosses the Golden Gate Bridge, and ends in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. The route is approximately 420 miles long, averaging 60 miles each day. The route is designed for experienced and fit road cyclists. The number of guests will be between 60 to 75 riders. 2025 would have been our 37th annual tour.

This is a camping tour with a different base camp each evening. Your luggage will be transported to the next camp each day, while the day’s route will end at the new camp. Provided meals will be served at each camp.
